YOUR LECTURER ON BOARD
	Gareth Williams studied history at the universities of St Andrews and Bergen, writing his PhD on aspects of Viking settlement in Scotland. Since 1996 he has been curator at the British Museum, and his research covers most aspects of the Viking Age. He is a regular guest expert on TV and radio programmes concerning the Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and Normans, and in addition to extensive academic publications.
