We are writing to you today to let about Hurtigruten's 2014 Explorer Voyages to Greenland.

Hurtigruten's expedition team have created some great hikes when you land at the small communities along the Greenland coast, making this an ideal destination for anyone who enjoys walking/hiking. You can kayak in amongst the icebergs and really witness their immense size. Alternatively if you don't want to take hikes or go kayaking, you can enjoy ice-cruising on the Polarcirkel boats and still experience being close to the icebergs.

On these voyages you will visit traditional Inuit settlements, experience Greenland's fascinating culture, meander around those settlements and talk to the local people, who are very friendly. One of the highlights of the voyages is a to visit Ilulissat, which means 'Icebergs' - this is a UNESCO world heritage site and this is where you will see enormous icebergs, which are almost the size of mountains.

At the end of your voyage, you may even get a chance to walk on the Ice Cap, which covers 80% of Greenland. These are the type of experiences that you may have been looking for, so bear Greenland in mind when you are looking for that unique experience.
